I.Overview

The HZ10311 high temperature and high shear viscosity tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with SH/T 0703 and ASTM D5481 standards. It can accurately measure the high temperature and high shear viscosity of petroleum products in strict accordance with the standard description. It is suitable for measuring the high temperature and high shear viscosity of engine oil at a temperature of 150℃ and a shear rate of 1.4×10^(6)s(-1), and its unit is mPa·s.

II.Standard description

At a constant high temperature of 150℃, measure the time for a certain volume of lubricating oil to flow through a glass capillary viscometer with an inner diameter of 0.15mm under the pressure of an inert gas at a shear rate of 1.4×10^(6)s(-1) . Substituting the inert gas pressure P and the flow time T into the parameter-calibrated high-temperature high-shear viscosity calculation formula, the high-temperature high-shear viscosity value of the measured lubricating oil can be obtained.

III.Structural characteristics

The HZ10311 high temperature and high shear viscosity tester is composed of a constant temperature bath and a viscometer unit, a pressure chamber and a gas circuit, and an electrical control system equipped with a touch screen.

1. Constant temperature bath and viscometer unit: 150°C constant temperature metal bath, 6 viscometer units, the test cell and the glass injection pipe containing the oil sample to be tested are connected and disconnected by a Swagelok stopcock. This instrument is equipped with 6 viscometer experimental units, which can simultaneously perform preheating preparations for 6 groups of oil samples, which is more efficient than the single-tube design. The waste liquid chamber adopts a drawer design, which can hold a waste liquid tray of matching size for collecting experimental waste liquid;

2. Air pressure chamber and air circuit: A high-pressure buffer tank with a certain volume is used as the air pressure source (maximum 3.5MPa), and the high-pressure inert gas source (nitrogen or carbon dioxide cylinder), the outside world and the experimental pipeline are respectively connected through the stop valve; the total air circuit is divided The circuit components are divided into 6 branches, which are connected to each viscometer experimental unit through the straight joint on the upper end of the viscometer;

3. Electrical control system with touch screen: This instrument uses a touch screen to realize all electrical control related test operations, as well as display and calculation of test data.
