I Main performance

1. Scope of application:

It is applicable to testing all types of faults of power cables with 35kV and lower voltage, test kV cables/wires with above double-core (including coaxial),test open circuit and low resistance faults, calibrating length of cables/wires and transmission speed of electric wave in the cables.

At the Flashover sample test method, HZ-501B cable fault locator, working with HZ-503 cable fault pin-pointer,HZ-504 cable route tracer, HZ-508-35/2 series High Voltage pulse generator, to complete the measurement of cable fault by "flashover method".

2. Main technical parameters

1) Industrial grade 5 inch LCD display, key board operation.-

2) With distance, speed and resistance measurement function.

3) Automatic continuous sampling and never lose any discharge waveform.

4) Testing method: flashover sampling, low-impulse method.

5) Measure distance: Smax:60km……Smin:15m.

6) Pre-locating accuracy: absolute ± 10m ; relative: ±1%

7) Built-in DC power 2.6V/10.4Ah, also connect with external AC 220V 50Hz power supply

II Main features

(1) SCM centralized control, with strong anti -interference ability.

(2) Nickel hydrogen battery and charger, therefore, the instrument can work under AC / DC.

(3)Built in a micro printer can print test waveforms and related content at any time.

(4) At the "sample" state, "pulse 1" "pulse 2" can be arbitrary switched.

(5) With left and right displacement, extended compression test waveform function, in order to clearly observe any inflection point of the test waveform.

(6) Communication with computer.

(7) Continuously sampling and displaying the test waveform, Rather than press key once to record one test waveform.

(8) With storage function, can store a total of ten on-site test waveforms,not afraid of power down.
