1.Purpose

This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the international standard ASTM D86, and is suitable for the distillation determination of petroleum products such as gasoline, jet fuel, petroleum solvent, kerosene and diesel under this standard.

2.Structural characteristics

This instrument is mainly composed of three parts: distillation device, condensing device and receiving system, as shown in the figure:

1. The distillation device is composed of a heating rate control system and a heating furnace lifting mechanism. The main component of the heating rate adjustment circuit is a solid-state voltage regulator, which is simple to install, easy to use, and reliable. The output voltage is directly displayed by a voltmeter, which is intuitive and easy to control.The heating furnace adopts a quartz tube electric furnace, which has the advantages of anti-oil splash, anti-electric shock, anti-oxidation and high thermal efficiency compared with the traditional one. The observation window of the heating chamber adopts an open type, which provides great convenience for the installation of the flask, the adjustment of the height of the furnace frame and the cooling of the heating furnace.

2. The receiving system is composed of a measuring cylinder, a measuring cylinder chamber and a lighting lamp, etc. The measuring cylinder chamber is composed of stainless steel and a large glass door, which is convenient for observation.
