该器件采用全玻璃材料、多层结构、单侧出纤、激光焊接封壳和微型金属管封孔的设计，与传统三端口DWDM器件和AWG DWDM器件相比较，体积缩小到五十分之一，插损值减少一半以上. 实现了挂缆使用和挂墙使用。
