Non-woven fabrics are mainly made of polypropylene (PP) and polyester (PET). In addition, there are nylon (PA), viscose fiber, acrylic, polypropylene (HDPE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC). According to application requirements, non-woven fabrics can be divided into disposable and durable types.

According to the production process, it can be divided into:

1. Spunlaced nonwoven: Spunlaced process is to spray the high pressure water into one or more layers of fiber network, so that the fibers are entangled with each other, so that the fiber network can be strengthened and have a certain strength.

2. Thermal bonding non-woven: thermal bonding non-woven refers to the addition of fiber or powder thermal bonding reinforcement materials in the network, the network after heating melting cooling reinforcement into cloth.

3. Pulp into non-woven cloth: air into non-woven cloth can also be called dust-free paper, dry paper non-woven cloth. It is the use of airflow into the network technology will be the wood pulp fibreboard loose into a single fiber state, and then use the airflow method to make the fiber agglutination in the net curtain, the fiber net reinforcement into cloth.

4. Wet non-woven cloth: Wet non-woven cloth is made by loosening the fiber raw materials in the water medium into a single fiber, and mixing different fiber raw materials to make the fiber suspension pulp, which is transported to the net-forming mechanism, and the fiber is formed into a net and then strengthened into cloth in the wet state.

5. Spunbonded non-woven fabric: Spunbonded non-woven fabric is made of continuous filament after the polymer has been extruded and stretched, the filament is laid into a net, and the fiber net is then bonded by itself, thermal bonding, chemical bonding or mechanical reinforcement to make the fiber net into non-woven fabric.

6. Melt spray nonwoven: the process of melt spray nonwoven: polymer feeding -- melt extrusion -- fiber forming -- fiber cooling -- mesh forming -- reinforcement into cloth.

7. Acupuncture non-woven cloth: Acupuncture non-woven cloth is a kind of dry non-woven cloth. Acupuncture non-woven cloth USES the puncture effect of acupuncture needles to strengthen the fluffy fiber net into cloth.

8. Sewn non-woven fabric: sewn non-woven fabric is a kind of dry non-woven fabric. Sewn fabric is made by reinforcing the fiber net, yarn layer, non-woven material (such as plastic sheet, plastic thin metal foil, etc.) or their combination by using the warp coil structure.

9. Hydrophilic non-woven fabric: mainly used in the production of medical and sanitary materials for better hａnd feeling and non-scratch skin. Like sanitary napkin, sanitary gasket is the use of hydrophilic non-woven fabric hydrophilic function.

The non-woven fabric is moisture-proof, breathable, flexible, light, non combustion supporting, easy to decompose, non-toxic and non irritant, rich in color, low in price and recyclable. For example, polypropylene (PP material) particles are mostly used as raw materials, which are produced by continuous one-step process of high-temperature melting, wire spraying, sizing and hot rolling.
